Who we are

QuikSync Technologies LLP operates QuikSignal and is the controller of the personal data described here. Our registered address and contact details are at the foot of this page.

What we collect about you

• Account details. Your name, work email address, organisation name, and the role you hold in your workspace. We get these when you sign up or when a colleague invites you.
• Billing details. Your billing name, organisation, billing email and the record of what you were charged. We never see or store your card number, CVV or expiry. Card details are entered on our payment provider’s own form and never reach our servers; we receive only a payment reference and, at most, the last four digits and the card network.
• How you use the product. Sign-in events, which screens and exports you use, and the questions you ask the product - so we can make it work and investigate faults.
• What you put in. The companies and markets you ask us to watch, and anything you upload or connect.

Information about other people

This is the part worth reading properly. QuikSignal reads public sources - newsrooms, regulatory filings, careers pages, investor material, trade press - and identifies people named in them in their professional capacity: a name, a job title, the employer, and the public document they were named in. Every such record carries the document it came from.

We hold ourselves to limits here, and they are commitments rather than preferences:

• We do not scrape LinkedIn, or any platform whose terms forbid it.
• We do not buy personal contact data.
• We do not infer or record anything about a person’s private life, and we do not guess.
• We do not collect special-category data - health, beliefs, and the rest - at all.
• Nothing is scored in secret: every conclusion shows its source.

If you are named in QuikSignal and want to see or remove that record, email us and we will deal with it within 30 days. You do not need an account with us to ask.

Why we are allowed to hold it

• To provide the service you bought - performance of our contract with you.
• To run a market-intelligence product on public business information - our legitimate interest, balanced against the limits above.
• To meet tax and accounting obligations - a legal requirement we cannot opt out of.
• With your consent, where we ask for it, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data, and we never will. We share it only with the suppliers who make the product work - hosting and database providers, our payment provider, and email delivery - each under contract, each only with what they need for their part.

We will disclose data if the law requires it. If we are ever compelled to, we will tell you unless we are legally barred from doing so.

Where it is held

Data is processed on servers operated by our hosting and database providers, which may be outside India. Transfers are covered by the contractual protections those providers offer.

How long we keep it

• Account data: while your workspace is active, and for 90 days after it closes.
• Collected market data: for as long as your workspace runs. Deleted within 30 days of closure.
• Billing and invoice records: 8 years, because Indian tax law requires it. This is the one category we cannot delete on request.
• Security and audit logs: 12 months.

What you can ask us to do

Ask us for a copy of what we hold, correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, or object to it. Email us and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with how we handled it, tell us so plainly and we will escalate it internally before you have to take it further.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your workspace. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not run third-party trackers on this site.

Security

Access is controlled per workspace and enforced on the server, not merely hidden in the interface. Secrets are held as environment variables and never in our source code or in the browser. Data is encrypted in transit. No system is perfect; if we ever suffer a breach that affects you, we will tell you and the relevant authority without delay.

Children

QuikSignal is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will email account holders rather than quietly changing the date at the top.
