Platform - AI market analysis

AI market analysis read against ninety days of history.

Analysis is the half that is not a commodity. Anybody can assemble a reading list; the work is deciding what a document is worth, whether anybody independent agrees, and whether it changes anything against what was already known.

The problem

An AI summary of a market reads well and settles nothing. It cannot tell you which of its claims had two independent sources and which had one, whether the thing it is reporting is new or three months old, or what it left out and why.

What arrives

  • A reading of what changed, not a digest of what was said
  • An independent-source count beside each finding, after reprints are merged
  • The ninety-day history a finding was judged against, openable
  • The suppression log, with the reason and the score for each item held back
  • A named party for each source - official record, company statement, or independent reporting
  • The analysis as PDF, slides, Excel or CSV
Who does the work

What the AI market analysis actually analyses

  1. 01 · Assess

Relevance is scored and each source is classified as an official record, a company’s own statement or independent reporting, before anything is built on it.

  2. 02 · Cross-check

The independent sources carrying a claim are counted, with reprints of one story collapsed first.

  3. 03 · Analyse

Ninety days are read backwards, near-duplicate coverage is merged, and what changes nothing is held back into a log with the score that held it.

  4. 04 · Synthesise

What survives is written into a short brief, each line tracing to its dated document.

  5. 05 · Deduplicate

Near-duplicate coverage of one story is collapsed into one finding before anything is counted, so ten reprints of a press release never read as ten sources.

  6. 06 · Suppress

What changes nothing against the ninety days behind it is held back into a log with the score that held it, so the judgement is reviewable instead of invisible.

What it does not do

  • It does not forecast, and it does not express a probability. Growth describes a window that has already closed.
  • A finding is never described as verified. Agreement is reported as agreement.
  • It analyses the companies and markets you choose. It is not a general answer engine for any question.
Which plan

Analysis is not a separate product or a separate plan - it is the middle of the chain every brief goes through, on every plan.

Questions

What people ask

What does "analysis" actually mean here?
Four concrete things: relevance scored, each source classified for what it is, independent corroboration counted, and the finding read against ninety days of the same company’s history. Each is implemented by a named agent.
Why does the held-back material matter?
Because a tool that silently drops things cannot be audited. The log lists what was held back and the score that held it, so the judgement is reviewable rather than taken on trust.
Does it analyse a market or a company?
Both, and they use the same chain. A market is researched from agency statistics and the companies in it; a company is researched from its own evidence and independent reporting about it.
What does a suppressed finding look like?
A line in a log with the reason and the score that held it - a price page that changed its footer, a reposted requisition, a reprint of a story already reported. The point of showing them is that a reader can disagree with the judgement, which is impossible when a tool drops material silently.
Why ninety days rather than a longer window?
Ninety days is long enough that a quarterly pattern is visible and short enough that the comparison is still about the current state of the company. A finding is read backwards against that window, so a change is reported as a change rather than as news.
How is analysis different from summarising?
A summary shortens what was said. Analysis decides what each source is worth, counts who independently agrees, sets the finding against what was already known, and holds back what changes nothing. A summary of ten articles about one press release is ten paragraphs; the analysis is one finding with a source count of one.
